Farm and Flea Market Saturday May 12th

The second Saturday in May on the 12th, the Historic Spring Garden Ranch will be having its first Farm/Flea Market, starting at 7 AM til 1 PM.
Market will be in the historic area of the ranch under the shady Oak hammocks. We will be using one of the oldest barns in Volusia County for inside vending, outside vending available.
As usual, the Ranch will have lots of fun activities to go along with the Market such as pony rides, hayrides and more. Food and drinks will be available at the Market and the Restaurant will be open with equine demonstrations on the track and the infield.

Make plans to join us for another fun-filled day at the beautiful Spring Garden Ranch. The Ranch will be open for the summer so look forward to more announcements on upcoming events.

Dear Friends,

The Spring Garden Ranch Restaurant and the Elusive Grape will be hosting a beautiful evening that entails of horses, food and wine. What’s a better combination than that?

We will have carriage rides on an 1890′s Bronson Beachwagon pulled by Palomino warmbloods from Equivale starting at 5:00 P.M. followed by a four-course meal and wine tasting at 5:30 P.M.

Matinee Day is the last day of March

Matinee Day will be on March 31st. Enjoy a full and exciting day of harness racing around our 1 mile clay track. There will also be lots of festivities (to be announced) for the whole family to enjoy. Proceeds will be going to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Don’t forget about our amazing track side restaurant with the best food in town. Seating is limited so please come early. There will be lots more information on Matinee Day come soon, so please check back with us in a couple of weeks.

Spring Garden Ranch Qualifing Races Have Begun!

Its finally that time of the year every one has been waiting for. The Spring Garden Ranch qualifiers have begun. Every year before the standardbred horses start their campaign to race at tracks around the U.S., they do qualifiers here at the Spring Garden Ranch. All of the horses that have been training here over the past training season, will finally be getting their feet wet, by racing around our track.

So come and join us at the Spring Garden Ranch every Tuesday from now to the end of April. The Races start around 11am, but we suggest you get here a little earlier to get comfortable, and even get your self at nice seat at our track side restaurant. Don’t forget these races are weather and entry permitting so it’s best to call a head to make sure the races are not going to be called off for that day.

Its simple. As long as you’re a trainer at the Spring Garden Ranch Harness Training Center, all you have to do is fill out our online TRAINER PROFILES FORM and hit submit. Will quickly receive your submission and upload the content to the trainer profiles page free of charge. No hidden fees. This is simply one way we reward our trainers for choosing us. Don’t forget to have a photo selected when you’re submitting your profile, so we can have a face to match the name.

Join The Fun As Winter Training Season Begins

November 1st marks the beginning of the winter harness training season for the Spring Garden Ranch. Hundreds of Standardbreds will be shipping into the Ranch for the next 6 months of learning how to be a racehorse. If you enjoy watching the trotters and pacers, the “babies” will be just starting their journey to a racehorse. The Ranch is open to the public, tours of the world famous facility are available and the track-side restaurant will be opening, under new management, Oct.29th, 7am-2pm, 7 days a week.
